How Successful Golfer Xander Schauffele Became a Millionaire

There’s no doubt that pro golfer and 2020 Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele is one of the most famous athletes living in the world today. Currently ranking at number 6 in the world, Xander’s meteoric rise in the golf world is pretty impressive.

Since beginning his professional career in 2015, Xander Schauffele has been unstoppable, bagging wins and prize money in almost every tournament he’s played, as well as cinching some big-time endorsements.

This may have got you wondering: how much is Xander Schauffele’s net worth?

Well, in that case, you’ve come to the right place. Today, we’re going to see how much Schauffele has made from playing tournaments and take a look at his modest beginnings.

Let’s get started.

Alexander Victor Schauffele was born on October 25, 1993, to parents Stefan Schauffele and Ping Yi-Chen. His father is of French and German descent, while his mother is Taiwanese-Japanese.

Coming from a family of athletes, Xander has an impressive lineage. Both of his great-grandfathers were accomplished athletes during their time.

His great-grandfather, Johann Hoffmann, was a member of the Austrian national football team and winner of several national titles. His other great-grandfather Richard Schauffele was a prolific track and field athlete who also had his share of achievements and exemplary records.

Nevertheless, Schauffele started a bit late in the world of sports. He said in one of his interviews that he hadn’t even thought about golf seriously until he was well into his teenage years.

Since then, the significant influence on his sports career has always been his father, who himself was a former athlete. Not only was he the source of motivation and support, but Stefan was also Xander’s swing coach in his son’s formative golf years.

Yet, his father wasn’t his only fan. His mother and brother, Nico, have also been very supportive of his career right from the start.

In 2021, Schauffele married his long-time girlfriend Maya Lowe, who graduated with a degree in science and public health from the University of California, San Diego. They’ve been together since 2014, and she’s always been one of his staunchest supporters.
