Wilson Profile SGI Fairway Wood and Hybrid

If you are not confident hitting your driver off the tee, the fairway wood or hybrid would be a great choice. The fairway wood and hybrid are both great clubs, and I think they are a valuable addition to any beginner’s golf set.

I think having both in a golf set is a great idea because you can use the fairway wood for longer shots and the hybrid for shorter shots. You can also use a hybrid for those shots out of the rough that are difficult to hit with a fairway wood.

Wilson Profile SGI Irons

This Wilson set has a 6, 7, 8, and 9-iron that have a cavity back design and are very forgiving. The set also has a pitching wedge and sand wedge to help with all types of shots around the greens.

Now we get to the irons, and this is where the Wilson Profile SGI Complete Set really shines. The 6, 7, 8, and 9 irons are all cavity back clubs with perimeter weighting.

Profile SGI Complete Set - 7 Iron

The clubs boast a very low center of gravity that provides immense power, height gain and distance. This feature also allows for more accuracy in your shots; it’s easier to stop the ball on the green as you hit higher with improved precision when playing, leading to better scores throughout your round!

This means they are designed to be very forgiving, making them a great choice for beginner golfers who may not have a lot of experience with irons.

The pitching wedge and sand wedge are also great clubs, and they provide a lot of versatility. You can use the pitching wedge for approach shots and the sand wedge for getting out of bunkers or around the green.

Wilson Profile SGI Putter and Bag

Lastly, the set also comes with a putter too. The putter in the Wilson Profile SGI Complete Set is a good quality putter, and I really enjoyed using it on the putting green. It has good weighting and feels good in the hands.

The alignment aid on the top of the putter is also a great feature, and it helped me to line up my putts better. Although I prefer a mallet putter, the blade putter in this set is still a good quality putter, and I think it would be a great choice for beginner golfers.

The Wilson Profile SGI Complete Set comes with a nice carry bag that has plenty of storage pockets but it doesn’t come with a rain hood. The bag is also lightweight and easy to carry, which is great for beginner golfers who may not be used to carrying a heavy golf bag.

Profile SGI Complete Set

The quality of this bag is not as good as the rest of the set, but it is still a nice bag. You can always try and invest in a higher quality bag if you find that you need it. This bag has plenty of space for golf balls, tees, and other golf accessories.

Great Price

Some of the latest drivers on the market can cost upwards of $600, and a complete set of irons usually cost even more.

Luckily, the Wilson Profile SGI Complete Set is available for just under $400, making it a great option for beginner golfers who want quality without spending a lot of money.

This set is slightly more expensive than the Callaway Strata set, but it is cheaper than the MacGregor DCT300 set, which is in the same category. You could always buy each club separately, but that would end up costing you quite a bit more money in the long run.

Closing Thoughts

Overall, I’m very impressed with the Wilson Profile SGI Complete Set and it is a great value for the price. It includes everything a beginner golfer needs to get started playing and it won’t break the bank. While Wilson isn’t a big name in pro golf, it’s a great brand for beginners.

The set is also very affordable, making it a great option for beginner golfers who don’t want to spend a lot of money on new clubs. The driver is designed to be forgiving, making it a great choice for beginner golfers who may not have a lot of experience with drivers.

While the irons are also very forgiving, and the wedges are definitely a great addition to the set. The putter is of good quality with a nice alignment aid.

The only downside is that the carry bag is not of the same quality as the rest of the set, but it is still a nice bag.
