Callaway Paradym Driver Review

Just when we thought Callaway drivers couldn’t get any longer, they pulled the new Paradym out of the hat.

It’s worth mentioning that in addition to distance, the Paradym also comes packed with forgiveness.

If you’re in the market for a new golf driver and keeping the ball long and straight down the middle is your goal, the Paradym should be on your list.

When we tested the Paradym driver, the thing that stood out the most to us was the feel. You don’t always think of feel in a golf driver until you find one that feels this good.

Let’s take a closer look at the Callaway Paradym driver and explore why it’s one of the top drivers on the market.

All of the driver’s heads are adjustable, so fine-tuning the loft you need isn’t hard.

The Paradym is not the cheapest driver on the market, but it’s in the bag of professionals on the PGA Tour. That says quite a bit about its capability!

Paradym X Driver

If you are looking for a new driver that will deliver excellent performance and the latest technology, the Callaway Paradym Driver is a great choice.

Jon Rahm recently tweeted his enthusiasm for Callaway’s new Paradym driver, exclaiming “Every time they hand me something new, I get better…so it’s safe to say I’m REALLY excited.”

It’s easy to say this when Callaway pays you millions to put a club in your bag. Not all of us have this luxury.

Let’s look at how the Paradym compares to other technology on the market.

Looks and Feel

The Callaway Paradym drivers look super-premium and sleek and will definitely turn heads on the course. The captivating blue color of the driver is quite eye-catching, and it produces no glare.

You get a clean look at the ball.

The club’s feel gives off an impression of confidence and control — exactly what you’d expect from a high-end driver.

Callaway Paradym X vs Cobra LTDx

On the sole, 14g and 2g weights are placed respectively at the front and back. You also have the option to place the 14g weight more toward the front to make your shots spin less.

We love driver adjustability like this if you are fighting a slice or a hook.

The Paradym has a pleasing, muted sound that sits at an average volume and mid-pitch. It’s not tingy but also not dull.

Performance

Callaway Paradym X

The Club produces great ball flight with good distance, and the adjustable sliding weight feature helps you dial in your desired shot shape.

When compared with the Callaway Rogue ST Max, the distance differences may be insignificant; however, you can anticipate a more uniform and aligned ball flight from the Paradym.

Compared to the previous model, the Mavrik, you should see at least 5 yards of distance gains. We usually notice this when skipping back to a model that is a few years old.

For the average golfer, the standard Callaway Paradym is the best choice.

The Paradym Triple Diamond model is your best bet if you are a low handicapper looking for more workability and maximum distance.

I was impressed with how forgiving the Callaway Paradym Driver is. Despite mis-hits, I noticed a significant reduction in distance loss, even on shots that were slightly off-center. Golf is a game of misses so when my misses are longer, I’ll take it!

The high Moment of Inertia (MOI) keeps the driver stable and allows for a nice, straight shot.

Technology and Features

Callaway Paradym Driver Head vs Cobra Ltdx Driver Head

The Callaway Paradym features all of Callaway’s latest technological advances. It’s no secret that Callaway is very interested in AI. They brought some of the first AI golf clubs to the market.

The Paradym has adjustable sliding weights, allowing you to customize and tailor it exactly to your specifications.

To top it off, the driver has a high MOI for improved stability and forgiveness on mis-hits. In short, if you’re looking for the latest in golf equipment technology, the Callaway Paradym driver is definitely worth a look.

Industry-First 360° Carbon Chassis

Callaway Paradym X Driver

Callaway believes it has introduced the industry’s first 360° carbon composite chassis in a golf club, allowing for optimal feel without sacrificing distance and forgiveness.

The broad sole ensures the club creates maximum aerodynamic efficiency and increases ball speed, especially at the bottom of its head.

New Jailbreak A.I.

Callaway’s innovative A.I.-powered Jailbreak system offers unprecedented stability both in the horizontal and torsional directions, plus it has been redesigned to be 33% lighter than before!

What does this mean for you? Faster ball speeds with improved stability create an unparalleled golf experience.

New A.I. Designed Face

A revolutionary Artificial Intelligence designed driver face, the all-new A.I. Face optimization is not only faster and more spin efficient than ever before but also dispenses your ball farther downrange as well!

AI allows golf manufacturers to test the clubs with extreme precision, making it easier to optimize performance. Say what you want about AI, but we all benefit from it in the Callaway golf club lineup.

Speed-Enhancing Face Cup and Forged Titanium Face

The incorporation of a speed-boosting face cup and forged titanium construction brings both distance and feel to your drives.

This combo extends your ball’s flight distance like never before–without sacrificing accuracy!

You can say you hit your driver as far as you need to, but it certainly won’t be something you’ll complain about if you get an extra ten yards.

Desired Shot Shape

Featuring a refined shape with adjustable perimeter weighting, the driver head’s increased MOI allows for up to 12 yards of shot correction.

The 12 yards of shot correction is a big difference and gets you back in the fairway.

The Callaway Paradym Driver is a top-of-the-line club that offers a combination of distance, forgiveness, and exceptional control.

With its cutting-edge A.I.-powered speed-enhancing face cup, forged titanium construction, adjustable perimeter weighting, and an A.I. designed for maximum spin efficiency, this driver is the most advanced that Callaway has ever released.

When we took the Paradym on the course, it went right into action. It’s an easy club to hit with really no learning curve. AI took care of all of that for you!

We would suggest investing in the Paradym if you are an avid player. It’s still a big price tag, and you want to ensure it makes sense for your game. If not, look for an older Rogue or Mavrik to save some additional money.
